The Ultimate Natural Flu Remedy

When I get the flu, I get more rest, eat lots of garlic, take probiotics, and make my own natural flu remedy.

In our house, getting the flu is not really a big deal. As a Naturopathic Doctor, I know that getting sick is just the body’s way of saying “slow down”.

This fast-paced world is go-go-go. Even when we get sick, sometimes we push through the symptoms and keep going. The body is resilient, however, when it wants to send a message, it does just that.

And now that it’s flu season, this means the body needs extra care. Otherwise, people start dropping like flies.

Sounds like the perfect time to share a powerful, easy-to-make natural flu remedy.

Let me teach you how to put together a strong natural flu remedy that will give you and your family an influx of flu fighters made with love from nature.

And the best part is, it tastes great too!

Homemade Natural Flu Remedy

1 lemon, freshly squeezed juice
4 cloves of garlic, minced
Raw honey, to taste
2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
Pinch of cayenne powder
Pinch of turmeric
Apple cider vinegar, to taste

Take all of these ingredients and put them in a warm cup of water. Then shake.

Whether or not you believe in taking the flu shot, it’s important to keep your immune system strong, especially this time of year.

Even with the flu shot, people are not fully protected since every few years the disease forecasters don’t predict the correct strain that becomes an epidemic. I can’t tell you how many patients I’ve seen over the years who get the flu shot, yet still get sick.

Enjoy this kickin’ health tonic and share my natural flu remedy with anybody you know who’s sick.

I’m sure they’ll appreciate it. And one day, they may share it with you too.
